WHAT DOES A NANNY EARN?

If she is living in the Host Families house she can earn up to € 1.900,--. (Salary varies)

If she is living in her own house/flat she can earn up to € 2.500,--. (Salary varies)

The employer is responsible for the Nanny’s tax and health insurance contributions, obtaining work permits and satisfying any registration requirements as are required by law (if you have a nanny from another country). As well a Nanny has a title on vacations, period of notice, she must have an accident insurance and gets her payment if she is sick.

G.A.S.T AGENCY FEES AND COMMISIONS FOR THE NANNY

Handling fee of € 65, -- plus V.A.T. (according to German law, and after the receipt of the “Fragebogen für Au-Pair/Nanny” or the “Au-Pair/Nanny Questionnaire”)

G.A.S.T charges a commission of € 300, -- after the successful settlement plus V.A.T. (according to Germany law)

PLEASE OBSERVE

The contract is a deal between the host family and the nanny. Please, consider that a nanny who lives by herself can demand more money. A nanny who lives with the host family earns less.
