History
The Federal
Republic of Germany is located in the “Heart of Europe”. Because
of Germany´s central position in Europe it has the most neighbouring
countries.

mountain of Germany is the “Zugspitze” (2962 m = 3229,58 yards).

river is the Rhine (865 km = 536,6 miles).
The biggest
natural lake is the “Bodensee” (Lake Costance) (571 m² = 222,69
square miles).
It is partly located in Switzerland, partly in Germany.
The biggest
artificial lake is the “Bleilochtalsperre” (215 mio. M³ =
7589,5 cubic feet).
